By Board policy, there is a cancellation policy for all events which is clearly stated in the registration material on the website. A person who cancels 2 weeks in advance will receive a full refund. A person who cancels 1 week in advance will receive a 50% refund. A person who cancels less than one week in advance or fails to attend with no notice is expected to pay in full. NCAIS allows a school to substitute one person for another at no extra charge. Refunds for extenuating circumstances such as weather-related cancellations, illness that requires hospitalization, funerals for immediate family members and other similar life circumstances will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Any special circumstances refunds may be prorated depending on the extent of expenses already incurred.
