Unlocking the Future of Education - Turning Challenges into Opportunities

1200+ Independent School Educators trudged through the rain to attend our 2008 event! We’re anticipating clear weather and an even greater turnout at the 2010 Conference! We invite you to plan a road trip with colleagues and treat yourself to a smorgasbord of professional development. We’ll start off the day with a keynote by internationally known educational consultant and author Rob Evans (Family Matters, The Human Side of School Change and Seven Secrets of the Savvy School Leader) who will talk with us about ways to “survive” and “thrive” in these challenging times. (Rob will also be presenting additional breakout sessions throughout the day and signing books in our Conference Bookstore.) Then you’ll have the opportunity to choose 4 sessions of your choice from approximately 150 breakout sessions presented throughout the day by professional practitioners and NCAIS colleagues. Featured sessions will include regional experts and a special group of “NAIS Teachers of the Future.”

There will be something for everyone… lower school, middle school, upper school, core subject areas, the arts, athletics and PE, academic support programs, specialty programs, as well as a separate administrative track with ISM.

All NCAIS/PAIS presenters must also register for the conference (contact Linda Nelson - lnelson@ncais.org) with questions.

ALL PROPOSALS MUST INCLUDE A SESSION DESCRIPTION OF 3-5 SENTENCES, WRITTEN IN THIRD PERSON.
