NCAIS Privacy Statement and Website Use Policy

At the North Carolina Association of Schools (NCAIS), we respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We recognize that our primary responsibility is to meet the interests and needs of member schools, prospective member schools, independent school families, sponsors, and friends of NCAIS. We also want you to understand how we use the information you share.
Registration and Access to Programs and Services
In order to register for an NCAIS event or receive information about a particular program or service, a user must first complete a registration form. During registration, a user is required to give contact information, such as name, e-mail address, school or organization, and job title. This information is used to contact the user about the event, resource, or program on our site in which they may have expressed interest. This information may also be used to notify you of future events, programs, and services.
Whenever you register for a professional development event, you are asked to provide financial information such as a credit card number and expiration date. This information is used to obtain payment from the appropriate clearinghouse and complete your registration. NCAIS does not process payments directly; we use a third party vendor who focuses their energies on making such transactions safe and efficient for both you, the user, and organizations like NCAIS. NCAIS does not collect or hold your credit card or other specific payment information.
NCAIS Does Not Sell any Personal Information to Third Parties
NCAIS may, periodically use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google. This tool will be used to track website usage and gain information to help NCAIS better meet the needs of member schools though the NCAIS website. This tracking is anonymous and never includes personal information. Personal data collected may include Cookie and Usage Data. (A cookie is a small piece of text sent to your browser by a website you visit. It helps the website to remember information about your visit that can make your next visit easier and the site more useful to you.)
Authorization of Use
Any person is authorized to view the information, images, texts, documents and all other content posted on the NCAIS website for informational purposes only. NCAIS may modify the terms and conditions of use at any time, without prior notice, and such modifications shall become effective upon posting on the NCAIS website. NCAIS reserves the right to restrict access to its website or the contents contained therein. All users are responsible to review regularly the contents of this Notice to determine the terms and conditions contained herein.

Links appearing on the NCAIS website allow the user to access third party websites. Links to third party websites are provided for the user's convenience and information only. NCAIS does not control and is not responsible for the content appearing on these sites. In no event will NCAIS be liable for any damages suffered by user with regard to access to or use of such website or the contents contained therein.
