2017-2018 Teacher-To-Teacher Program

NCAIS is pleased to announce that we will be organizing the Teacher-To-Teacher program again for the third year! Thank you to everyone who has participated in the past and to those who are considering participating this year. The program will give NCAIS teachers an opportunity to visit and discuss best practices with teachers from other NCAIS schools.  All NCAIS teachers have the opportunity to sign up to participate in the program until September 12, 2017.

Teachers need to consider the following prior to signing up for the program:

  • Be willing to host another NCAIS teacher for a day during the first semester of the 2017-2018 school year
  • Be approved by your administration to visit another NCAIS teacher for a day during the first semester of the 2017-2018 school year
  • Be open to exchanging ideas, thoughts, and resources

How does the program work? Simple enough.

On September 14, 2017, NCAIS will share a contact list with everyone who signed up for similar content and grade levels as well as a suggested time frame for collaboration between partners. It will be up to each teacher to contact another person on the list with whom he or she would like to connect during the 2017-2018 school year. Once a connection has been made, please indicate that information on the editable spreadsheet. This will let all the other teachers know who is still available. If there are multiple teachers who would like to connect, please know that you can partner with more than one teacher.

****Note - The group participant lists will only be shared with teachers who sign up for the program.

Teachers participating in the program will be awarded 20 continuing education contact hours at the end of the 2017-2018 school year. This opportunity is free and open to all NCAIS teachers.
