• Our Twitter hashtags are #NCAIS18 and #BetterTogether. Be sure to tweet during the event!

  • Each Toolbox presenter will be handing out “tools” or cards detailing their tips and tricks from their session. In your swag bag, you will find a ring where you can add all your tools for handy use later!

  • When you arrive on campus for the conference, park in any of the lots located along the Lawndale Drive side of campus. There is a large lot near the athletic fields, as well as parking in the circle lots near the Upper and Lower schools, and another large lot just north of the Lower School. Please come directly to the Athletic complex. Registration will be in the Auxiliary Gym. We will have signs and volunteers pointing the way!

  • Everyone will receive a name badge along with a swag bag of goodies when you register. In your swag bag, there will be a passport. Visit exhibitors, get your passport validated, and be entered into prize drawings!

  • ACT is sponsoring breakfast. While you are visiting exhibitors and getting your passport stamped in the Alumni Gym, pick up a cup of coffee, a pumpkin muffin, or a piece of fruit so that you are fueled up and ready to head to the Dillard Gym for our opening session.

  • The lead sponsor of our meals for the day is FLIK. They will be serving a light continental breakfast and coffee in the morning, along with lunch in the middle of the day. Vegetarians, Dairy-Free, and Gluten-Free participants will all have options as well.

  • Be sure to review the sessions before you arrive! Build your schedule on the app so that you can be ready to get to your next session on time.

  • Have you arranged your carpool to the conference yet? Please try to ride together or come in your school’s bus so that there will be room for everyone in the school lots. There are several lots to choose from, all accessed from Lawndale Drive.

  • Because we are #BetterTogether, we have built in affinity group time. During this time, participants can choose from over 65 different roundtables arranged by topic or subject area! We will have everything from “Faculty Parents at Independent Schools” to “Middle School STEAM” to “First Grade Teachers”.

  • This year, we have 215 presenters at our over 175 breakouts during the Toolbox and Traditional sessions!

  • After the opening session, there will be panel discussions broken down by division: Early Childhood, Lower School, Middle School, Upper School, and Leadership. Our panelists are from NCAIS and beyond and will share their inspirational stories of innovative teaching and learning

  • We have over 50 exhibitors at this year’s event. Why should that matter to you? Not only do they help significantly underwrite the cost of the event, they also are offering great products and services to help us all do our jobs better. The prizes they offer don’t hurt either!

  • Check out the exhibitors and sponsors on the conference app! It can be downloaded from the App Store: Guidebook > NCAIS 2018 Annual Conference

  • Registration is open and we hope you will join us! If you need financial assistance, please reach out to Stephanie Keaney.
