In this workshop we will look at good practices for independent school boards, the role of the trustee, and the relationship between the head and board. We will use case studies to work through some of the most challenging parts of good trusteeship. Participants will leave with a model for good governance practice and clarity about the role of individual trustees in helping to deliver on the mission of the school and ensure long-term stability. Questions will be welcome throughout the day.
