Calling all teachers, student support professionals and learning specialists!

Each of us who works with students works with diverse learners!  They come in all colors, shapes, and sizes, enrich our classrooms, challenge conventional methods, and stretch us in new directions daily.  We all share in the blessings and challenges of today's learners, arguably all diverse!  Because of this, we can benefit greatly from the experiences, insights, and teaching strategies of both experts in the field and each other.  It all starts with understanding which allows us, as independent schools, to develop a foundational knowledge base, forward thinking curriculum, and school culture that prepares students both academically and personally, supporting the learning styles of our current and future generations of students.  Join NCAIS colleagues for a day focused on UNDERSTANDING, STRATEGIES, and IMPLEMENTATION.  Sarah Ward, nationally recognized expert on Executive Functioning, will provide a foundation and context for the day followed by a variety of breakouts by NCAIS experts.

“Every human has four endowments - self awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination. These give us the ultimate human freedom... The power to choose, to respond, to change.” ~ Stephen R. Covey
