Speaker Bios
Mike Swilley, InfoMart | InfoMart and Mike have been a partner with the NCAIS since 2014 and is currently working with Charlotte Preparatory, Trinity Episcopal, Omni Montessori, and many other private and public school systems around the country.
Mike has been with InfoMart for 19+ years.  He is a graduate of Harding University with a BBA in Business Management.  Mike also served in the US Coast Guard for 6 years as a Maritime Law Enforcement Boarding Officer and Machinery Technician where he received the Operational Commandants Letter of Commendation, and the Humanitarian Service Medal.  Prior to his current position, Mike served as InfoMart's Implementation Manager, conducting client setup and training for the American Red Cross, Cox Enterprises, Campbell’s, DuPont, Georgia Pacific, Vidant Healthcare, Bose International, Aflac, and numerous other organizations nationwide.  Prior to leading the Implementation team, Mike worked as the Manager of Client Relations. In 2000, Mike was named InfoMart's Outstanding Peer of the Year, nominated by InfoMart employees, and he was InfoMart's Salesperson of the Year in 2007 and 2008.
Clement Hourican | Graduate of Norwich University, Military College of Vermont with a B.A.  in History and a concentration in Military and International Studies. Served as an Army Infantry Officer from 1984-1989 assigned to a Rapid Deployment Unit.In 1989 joined the US Secret Service and served in numerous assignments in a variety of responsibilities including investigation of financial crimes, threats against protected persons and anti-terrorism related activities.  Also responsible for planning and providing security for numerous heads of state, supervisor for the Secretary of Treasury’s security detail, responsible for major events coordination as both a law enforcement and intelligence community liaison officer. 
Additionally, Clem served two tours in the Protective Intelligence Division as both a journeyman and as a supervisor.  He worked in almost every assignment in the division and was selected as the agency’s first representative to the DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis. Clem was assigned as a training instructor and subsequently as Program Manager for the Protective Intelligence and Terrorism training section at the Secret Services’ James J. Rowley Training Center. Served as a Senior Law Enforcement Instructor and Program Coordinator for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, responsible for development and implementation of training for all agency Criminal Investigators. Currently assigned as a Law Enforcement Specialist/Instructor specializing in Protective Intelligence and Threat Assessment related skills at the Secret Service training academy, he is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert knowledgeable in the area of threat assessment and management, terrorism, extremism and related issues. Conversant in Spanish and Arabic. 

Gregory Glod is currently a certified Senior Law Enforcement Instructor at the United States Secret Service Training Academy in Maryland responsible as a certified instructor for the training of protective intelligence and threat management training. He retired from United States Secret Service with 26 years of service at our Nation’s highest level. He has extensive experience in threat management as a field investigator, headquarters operations and the direct supervision of the Secret Service Washington Field Office Protective Intelligence Division. In 2012, he was appointed as the Deputy Director assigned to the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) Threat Management Unit (TMU) at the Pentagon.  He was instrumental in the development of the current Pentagon TMU that serves as the operational element for the investigative and protective intelligence operations supporting the critical Pentagon protective missions.  He was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the TMU, which is tasked with investigations and management of individuals who might present harm to the Pentagon and the Department of Defense (DoD) leadership.  Mr. Glod has decades of experience in targeted violence, lone attackers, school & workplace violence, public figure stalking, counter-terrorism and behavioral based investigative methodologies. Prior to joining the Pentagon Force Protection Agency in 2012, Mr. Glod served as a Supervisory Special Agent in the United States Secret Service.  He served as the operational supervisor for the U.S. Secret Service’s Washington Field Office Protective Intelligence Section, which is responsible for directly supporting the protection of the President, First Family, Vice President and visiting Foreign Heads of State in the National Capitol Region.

 Immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Mr. Glod was assigned to the FBI Headquarters as the United States Secret Service’s Counter-terrorism representative supporting the FBI 9/11 terrorist investigation.  Following this assignment he then served as Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge of the Secret Service Intelligence Division’s Counter-terrorism Branch and with the National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC).  During this tenure he was responsible for creating the innovative and highly acclaimed Critical Protective Analysis Group (CPAG), responsible for the analysis of contemporary terrorist threats specifically focusing on emerging trends, tactics and capabilities.  The group was also tasked with the development of contemporary protective operations counter measures and mitigation strategies.  Additionally, this group provided extensive advanced training and education in this field to both domestic and allied foreign government security services.

 Mr. Glod has conducted numerous protective security advances in high threat environments at our Nation’s highest level throughout the world.  Mr. Glod was selected to act as the Counter-terrorism and Protective Intelligence Coordinator for the historic 2009 Presidential Inauguration.  Prior to that, Mr. Glod served as a certified instructor at the United States Secret Service Training Academy located in Beltsville, Maryland.  He was responsible for instruction in protective intelligence operations and theory, behavioral based investigative methodologies and also developed the highly innovative Counter Surveillance training program which was the logical extension of the countermeasures and mitigation programs he developed. Upon joining the United States Secret Service, he initially worked as a Special Agent for eight years in the San Francisco Field Office, serving in an investigative and executive protection capacity.  Before joining the United States Secret Service in 1985, Mr. Glod served eight years as a municipal police officer and person’s crime detective for the Antioch and Concord, California Police Departments.
