As Heads of School, your days are spent interacting with others. What you experience on the surface, however, is often just the tip of the communications "iceberg". Join NCAIS colleagues and interpersonal communications expert, Stephanie Lischke, for a 1/2 day session on Thursday to gain a working knowledge of the dynamics and "undercurrents" that are present and must be navigated whenever individuals interact with each other. This session will be followed on Friday by a panel of retiring NCAIS heads who will share reflections, notes to their younger self, and lessons learned along the way.

The families of Heads of School are also encouraged to attend the retreat. We will have organized (optional) activities as well as community meals where spouses, significant others, and children are welcome to attend.
