Participants will meet the authors listed below, explore engaging series, and access author connections. General enthusiasts of YA literature will gain insight into the newest works being published in the field.

Keynote by Allan Wolf: Wolf's picture books, poetry collections, young adult novels, and nonfiction celebrate his love of research, history, science, and poetry. Allan’s The Watch That Ends the Night, is on its list of the 50 Best YA Books of All Time and YALSA's Outstanding Books for the College Bound. His newest titles include a YA historical novel in verse, The Snow Fell Three Graves Deep: Voices from the Donner Party, a Finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Young Adult Literature, and American Library Association's Best Fiction for Young Adults. He has written numerous titles, including a picture book (No Buddy Like a Book); a poetry collection about the solar system (The Day the Universe Exploded My Head), and a poetry collection about a busy school garden (Behold Our Magical Garden). Join Wolf for an engaging session exploring how we cultivate and nurture the joy for literacy into young adulthood.
