NCAIS is excited to host two Educator Hiring Fairs: 

Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill
February 28, 2026

Cannon School (Concord)

Open to member schools ONLY, these events are designed to connect both prospective and established educators with our member schools across the state, providing a space to engage with potential hires. Schools will have the opportunity to showcase their values, programs, and culture while meeting candidates interested in independent education. 

Marketing:
In addition to NCAIS's marketing efforts, we require that all registered schools actively promote the Hiring Fair through their communications channels and social media. NCAIS will provide ready-to-use graphics and videos to make this easy.

Resume Access:
Registered schools will receive electronic access to candidate resumes before the event. We encourage you to review them in advance and reach out to candidates, inviting them to visit your table.

Representatives and Table Staffing:

  • Each school may bring up to two (2) representatives to staff their table.
  • Set-up will begin at 10:00 am.
  • Please remain at your table throughout the fair. Brief conversations with candidates are welcome, but we ask that you schedule longer, more in-depth interviews at a later time. Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth and engaging event!


Table Setup:
Each school will be provided with a 6-foot space covered with a black tablecloth. To make the most of your table:

  • Bring only items that fit on top of the table—floor displays are not permitted.
  • Clearly display a list of open positions at your school.
  • Make your table warm and inviting! Consider bringing a colorful banner, printed materials, a school t-shirt, or other merchandise. You could also play a slideshow. Tables with a vibrant and engaging setup tend to attract more visitors.

Technology Considerations:

  • Please ensure that any digital materials you would like to display are downloaded onto your device(s) in advance. While guest Wi-Fi will be available, it may be slower due to the number of attendees on campus.
  • We also strongly recommend bringing fully charged devices. Although there are wall outlets available, we will not be running extension cords to each table, and some tables may not be located near a wall.


Engagement Tip
To streamline the process of collecting information from potential candidates, we recommend bringing a QR code that links to a form where candidates can express specific interest in your school’s vacancies. We will send all registered schools an example to use.

Refreshments
Coffee, tea, and snacks will be available throughout the two-hour event.
