Words Matter Conference 2027

For Middle and Upper School Students & All Faculty/Staff

Friday, March 12, 2027
Words Matter

This year's theme is Uniquely Connected: Using Wisdom, Experience, and Action to Build Resilient Communities of Belonging. The words we choose shape how we see ourselves, how we connect with others, and how we create spaces where everyone feels they belong. Words Matter is an interactive conference where participants explore how language influences relationships, classroom dynamics, and society. Together, participants draw on their shared wisdom and different experiences to turn conversations into action and to consider the lasting impact of words and stories in their communities.

As has been our custom, this event has a faculty/staff track, an Upper School student track, and a Middle School student track.

The Words Matter Conference continues our decades-long commitment to helping those from different experiences and backgrounds find common ground and understanding.
